Come to the FQMS Gala Dinner for an evening of fine dining, live music and entertainment in aid of medical education in Palestine.

Laila El-Haddad is an award-winning Palestinian author, social activist, policy analyst and journalist. The author of “Gaza Mom: Palestine, Politics, Parenting, and Everything In Between” and, co-author of the critically acclaimed “The Gaza Kitchen: A Palestinian Culinary Journey.”

Entertainment includes:

The comedy stylings of Imran Yusuf and back by popular demand, Hawiyya, with a performance and dabke workshop (Palestinian folk dance) and Saied Silbak on the oud.

FQMS funds many projects in Palestine. Help us finance 3 vital programmes this year:

  • student financial aid – helping impoverished families fund their children’s medical education – target: £20,000.
  • fostering excellence in new medical graduates – funding the top students to work as teachers and trainers – target: £30,000.
  • secure accommodation for students whose travel is hampered by Israeli military checkpoints during their hospital placements – target: £30,000.
