Graduate debt relief programme – IUG – 2022

The pandemic, in combination with the war in May 2021, has caused a catastrophic deterioration of the economic situation in Gaza with a 50% unemployment rate. In 2022, FQMS supported graduates experiencing hardship and unable to pay their remaining fees, through FQMS graduate debt relief programme and upon recommendation from the Universities.

“Hello, first of all, I hope my message reaches you well. I have sent this message to you to express my thanks and gratitude to you for your assistance in paying my tuition fees. I have also obtained my certificate. This will enable me to complete my continuing education and pursue the medical profession that I have always dreamed of. Thank you very much.” Ohood

“I graduated from the Islamic University of Gaza-Faculty of Medicine in 2021. I would like to thank you for your support that helped me finish the last step in graduation fees. Now I can have my graduation certificate and join my colleagues in the internship year. Thank you”, Karam

“To FQMS trustees. Thanks for your kindness and generous donation which will help me pay my remaining university debt and get my medical school certificate. I was so glad to see your donation message today. It means a lot to me since I can finally start my hospital training to get GP license without any more delay because of financial issues. I can also continue my career path and pursue my goal of becoming a doctor. Thank you very much. I am really grateful.” Ezz Aldein
