Thank you for attending the event, “Healthcare within a humanitarian crisis: experiences from Gaza- Free Lecture with Mr. Khaled Dawas.” Mr. Dawas shared his recent experiences working as a surgeon in Gaza, providing emergency care. He discussed the targeting of health facilities and workers during the conflict, the implications for medical education in Palestine, and the role of global health students and practitioners worldwide.

This session included a main lecture by Mr. Dawas and perspectives from other health workers experienced in Gaza, such as Dr. Jane Crawley (pediatrics) and Dr. Shameq Syed (GP).
